Merry Meet, everyone,

I'm looking forward to having most of the weekend off (Sunday, I'll be grading some daily work--pop quizzes and the like). After a week of grading four sets of papers, I'm eagerly anticipating a nice break.

It's supposed to rain all day today but should taper off tomorrow. It'll be an inside the house weekend if ever there was one--nice for snuggling with DH and the cat :-)

Happy Weekend to All!

I'll be grading papers for part of the weekend, but I've promised myself that I'll take some breaks in order to go outside and dig in the vegetable garden site. Also, I need to weed and add more compost to my little asparagus bed.

I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time outside, after being cooped up for the winter.

I'd like to take the plunge and introduce myself. I am Earthwoman, from Central Texas. I am Wiccan/Hedge Witch/Kitchen Witch/Druid. I am decidedly eclectic, and solitary.

Not long ago, I finished up Bardic studies in OBOD--The Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids--and am now eagerly embracing the Ovate studies.

Let's see: what else? I share a home with a husband and one cat, as well as several tropical fish (freshwater, not saltwater--although setting up a saltwater tank in the future is a goal). I enjoy gardening and am learning as I go: plans for a vegetable garden and an herb garden are in the works, as well as a separate plot for medicinal flowers, such as coneflower and feverfew, is on the drawing board.

That's about it for now, I guess (introductions are never easy).
